Modern Uninterrupted - Haertling's Albersheim House

1440 Bellevue Drive

Designed by famed organic architect, Charles Haertling in 1965 for the Albersheim family, this beautifully landscaped home rests on a large 16,000 SQ FT sloping lot, offering coveted Flatiron views to the south and a city lights perspective to the north. The Albersheims requested these views but interestingly insisted that the home be parallel to the street.

The exterior is completely composed of well maintained cedar shingles and the home has been modernized with 2.59Kw of solar panels.  While the floor-plan is a bit rambling, the interior has not been overly modified and maintains a distinct Haertling character.
